Mission and Vision
Our Mission: To build community; to stimulate the inquisitive mind; to generate interest, excitement, and optimism about the world around us; to promote our region’s scientific and technological prowess; and once a year to come together in celebration of all of this. The Colorado Springs Cool Science Festival will:
- Show the FUN of science
- Involve all ages from young kids to adults
- Engage in informal learning experiences
- Grow minds
- Facilitate discussion around science
- Build science literacy
- Enhance the Pikes Peak community
Our Vision: By 2015, Colorado Springs will be home and host to a nationally recognized, multi-day, multi-venue science festival reaching 35,000-50,000 people from across our region. Through a program of activities, events, lectures, shows and forums woven from the collaborative involvement of companies and organizations throughout our region, the Colorado Springs Cool Science Festival will annually promote the rich innovative heritage, prowess, and potential of our great city and its environs.
